NFL Week 13 Prop Bets: Favoring WRs St. Brown and Hill

Hey, at least Bijan Robinson got the ball last week right? We nailed that one, but we missed on the Dolphins – thanks to arguably the worst play in NFL history. Also, no more James Connor props, or any Cardinals for that matter. They’re just not reliable at all. Okay, it’s December football time.  Here are the three best player and team NFL prop bets for the 13th week of the 2023 NFL season.

NFL PROP BETS: Amon-Ra St. Brown Is Always Open

Is there a more underrated wide receiver in the NFL than Amon-Ra St. Brown? The Pro Bowl wide-out is sixth in the league in receiving yards. St. Brown has crossed the 100-yard mark six times in 10 games this season. He’s also found pay-dirt five times — one short of his career high in a year.

Next Sunday is another prime opportunity for St. Brown with the Detroit Lions traveling to the New Orleans Saints. St. Brown’s over/under is 80.5 receiving yards with -115 odds in either direction at BetMGM and DraftKings Sportsbook. We really like the over on this bet because one particular Saints player is out.

The Saints have one of the better pass defenses in the NFL. But, New Orleans Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore was recently placed on IR. While the Falcons didn’t put up a lot of passing yards, their No. 1 receiver, Drake London, had five catches for 90 yards against the Saints last week. With all due respect to London, St. Brown is the superior player.

St. Brown has only gone under this total twice in 10 games this season. The first one came in week 1 against the Chiefs, and the other came against the Packers a few weeks later. However, he got hurt in that contest so make it one full game this whole season he’s gone under the total above. Take the over on this one.

Hey, at Least Aaron Rodgers Is Practicing…

The New York Jets. What else is there to say? A team with Super Bowl aspirations before the season now has their playoff odds on life support. Let’s be fair, it’s mainly because Aaron Rodgers tore his achilles four snaps into his Jets career. He is back to practicing, which in itself is bonkers. But, the New York offense has been horrific the past month-plus.

Since week 8, Gang Green has averaged exactly ten points-per-game. You don’t need us to tell you that’s not good. Honestly, we’re surprised the Jets over/under for Sunday’s contest against the Atlanta Falcons is 15.5 points. The odds are +102 at FanDuel Sportsbook to bet the under. Take it.

The Falcons are currently 14th in the NFL in points-allowed-per-game. The Jets managed just 13 points (six of which came through a pick-six) against the Dolphins, who aren’t great on defense. That game was at home and Sunday’s contest will also be at home. It doesn’t matter. Tim Boyle is the quarterback. If the Jets score more than this total without getting a defensive or special teams score it’d feel like a miracle.

Just Keep Betting on Tyreek Hill

A couple weeks ago we said to bet the over on Tyreek Hill’s receiving yards. It hit. In fact, he went over the century mark. Our suggestion, keep betting on Hill, but we’re going to mix it up this week.

Hill’s receiving total is at 99.5 yards. Basically, you’re betting Tyreek to go over 100. We think this is likely, but we like another bet. Over on his receptions. Right now, there are varying odds on Hill’s over/under for catches. Our favorite one is +106 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook for over 7.5 catches. Yes, this is a lot, but Hill has gone over this total six weeks in a row.

The All-Pro also has a terrific matchup this week. The Miami Dolphins travel to the Washington Commanders on Sunday. The Commanders give up over 264 passing yards-per-game, which is third worst in the league. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have the No. 1 passing attack in all of football. Is there any more we really need to say? You’re getting plus-odds on Tyreek Hill. Take it.
