Caesars Sportsbook relaunched in eight states in 2021 and plans on making its presence felt in many other states. The brand is big on quality but doesn’t scrimp on quantity, and you can take advantage of the great sports lineup and betting features when you register your player account.

Everything is at your fingertips at Caesars Sportsbook, and the user-friendly mobile app means you can wager without missing a beat. We cover everything in our review below, from betting options to payment methods and beyond.

Caesars has long been a household name in entertainment. However, it wasn’t always glitz and glamor. This corporate giant started in 1937 as a small bingo shop in Reno, Nevada, before expanding into the entertainment empire that we know today.

Caesars Sportsbook underwent something of a revamp recently with the purchase of the world-renowned William Hill Sportsbook. Caesars Entertainment completed the acquisition in April 2021, prompting a rebranding of its sportsbook. The combination of these two betting powerhouses makes Caesars Sportsbook among the biggest sports betting companies worldwide.

The rebranded sportsbook is live in eight states so far, with more in the pipeline, making sports betting at Caesars Sportsbook accessible to thousands of avid bettors. Residents in these states can access the platform through a desktop computer or mobile device, taking advantage of the numerous benefits of sports betting at Caesars Sportsbook.

Caesars Sportsbook, bolstered by the acquisition of William Hill, has an exciting lineup of sports. You can find the traditional American favorites, like football and baseball, mingling with more modern sports, like cycling and golf. All the sports have competitive odds and a broad range of betting markets to satisfy even the most fastidious bettor.

Caesars believes in rewarding its customers, borne out by its stash of bonuses and promotions. Its rewards program also has many benefits, but we discuss this in more detail later on in our review.

Welcome Offer – Up to $1,500 Risk-Free Bet

If you want a positive start to your sports betting, the Caesars Sportsbook sign-up bonus won’t disappoint you. What better way to try this platform out than with a risk-free bet to a maximum value of $5,000? Knowing that Caesars covers losses resulting from your first wager will undoubtedly give you peace of mind when submitting your bet slip.

The welcome bonus is available to all new Caesars Sportsbook customers, but you need to take a couple of actions to claim it. First, register your account, but more importantly, you must enter the correct bonus code when you do so. Bonus codes ensure that the sportsbook reserves the bonuses for you, and omitting the bonus codes means you lose out on the sportsbook promos.

Grabbing the Caesars Sportsbook sign-up bonus is quick and easy, but there are strings attached. You must place your first bet within seven days of registering. A return of $0 qualifies as a loss, and Caesars gives you bet credits to the value of your initial wager. You must use this within seven days, or it falls away. Falling foul of these conditions invalidates the risk-free bet. All bonus codes have terms and conditions that are clearly outlined in the bonus details.

State-Unique Bonuses

Caesars Sportsbook is currently available in eight states. We checked each state-unique site and found that each has the same welcome bonus and other promos. However, we know that this may not always be the case for bonuses.

As Caesars continues to roll its sportsbook out across the United States, you may notice some differences in what each state offers its bettors. Some states may offer a Caesars Sportsbook no deposit bonus, while bettors in other states receive a deposit match bonus.

One pertinent example is in Illinois, where the sportsbook is branded Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill, essentially due to the state’s requirements for in-person registration. Alongside this branding, it offers a slightly different welcome bonus. The risk-free bet caps at $300 in the Prairie State rather than at $5,000 as bettors elsewhere receive.

Caesars Sportsbook Seasonal Promos

Check the Caesars Sportsbook site regularly for details of seasonal promos, such as those for specific sports events or running for a limited time. Sportsbooks love to reward customers randomly, and you may receive a bonus on a particular day of the week just for logging in to your account.

Limited bonuses incentivize you to wager on sports that you may not have previously considered or place parlays instead of single bets. Whatever the bonus, make sure you read the small print, and don’t forget to use your bonus codes.

A rewards program is like an ongoing bonus scheme. It provides little incentives and rewards for your wagering, encouraging you to remain active on the platform. Customers in all states receive automatic membership to the Caesars Rewards program when they register with Caesars Sportsbook.

You earn two kinds of credits each time you place a bet: tier credits and rewards credits. Tier credits determine your status and enable you to advance through the scheme, from Gold to the pinnacle tier, Seven Stars. Caesars calculates tier credits over a calendar year, with every member’s accumulation reverting to zero on January 1st.

Rewards credits are redeemable at Caesars retail casinos, sportsbooks, and hotels for items like free play, dinners, shows, and hotel rooms. You can also spend them online at the Rewards Catalogue on anything from magazine subscriptions and gift cards to electronic equipment. We couldn’t find any option to redeem rewards points for free bets at Caesars Sportsbook.

The number of points per wager depends on the event odds rather than the value of your stake. You earn one tier credit and one reward credit for every $5 potential profit on every bet you place. The more you play, the more credits you earn, and bigger wins increase your earning potential.

Legal Operating States of Caesars

Legal and operational

States in which you can bet with Caesars

Sports betting is thriving, with an increasing number of states passing laws making it a legal activity. As these jurisdictions open up, names like Caesars Sportsbook become recognized as trusted platforms for legal sports betting.

To operate legally, Caesars Sportsbook must hold a valid license from the relevant authority in each state where its platform is live. For example, in Indiana, it’s licensed by the Indiana Gaming Commission, and in New Jersey by the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Each state’s licensing authority ensures that Caesars operates according to its regulations.

Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Caesars plans to launch its sportsbook in additional states with legal sports betting. As more states pass the necessary legislation, we will undoubtedly see this operator expanding its footprint even further.

The Caesars sportsbook and Wiliam Hill rebranding generated a lot of press attention and fanfare, and we were excited to do this review. But while there is indeed plenty to smile about, our initial reaction to the website was, at best, lukewarm.

First impressions hold a lot of weight, and we weren’t blown away by the look of the Caesars Sportsbook website. Although it provides access to all the facets of the sportsbook, it’s bland and uninviting with a distinct lack of color. The only place it really pays homage to color is the promotional banner showcasing promos and key events.

Caesars falls short in the aesthetics, but that doesn’t detract from the functionality of the site. As you would expect, the list of sports is prominent, and clicking on each one brings up the events and betting odds. From here, you can quickly select your markets and add them to your bet slip.

The general menu is at the bottom of the site connecting you to the live chat, house rules, and terms and conditions. You can also access the operator’s responsible gambling policy, which outlines the measures it provides to help bettors gamble safely. Caesars Sportsbook website may not be the most attractive platform, but it doesn’t lack functionality, and that’s possibly more important to the betting public.

Betting on the go is even better with the new Caesars Sportsbook app. The app provides all the functionality you’d expect from a mobile sportsbook and is more visually pleasing than the desktop site while maintaining a clean look.

The app is available for download to Apple devices from the App Store or Android from Google Play. Its compatibility isn’t in doubt, but check the system requirements before downloading it, as some older phones may not have the right technology. You should also have geolocation software installed on your device. The app won’t work unless it can determine that you are in a legal jurisdiction.

With its modern design, the app promises seamless usability and quick navigation from one event to another. A few screen taps or swipes is all it takes, whether you’re making selections for a parlay or getting trigger-happy with live in-play betting.

The Caesars Sportsbook app mirrors the browser site in terms of betting features and functions. Odds boosts, bonuses, and cashier transactions are as accessible on the app, with any time lag generally down to your internet connection. As an overall package, the Caesars Sportsbook app certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Access to Caesars Rewards
Earn reward and tier credits through all your mobile wagering.

Smooth Navigation
All app functions are easily accessible and clearly laid out.

You can bet on any sports event at any time. There’s no need to wait until you’re behind your desk.

Your device needs geolocation software or a similar app for Caesars to identify your location.

Requires Phone Space
The app utilizes a portion of your device’s memory. If you lack space on your device, the app won’t download.

Live Betting

It’s rare that a sportsbook doesn’t offer in-play betting, and we were pleased to find it quite prominent on the Caesars site. The red icon indicating live events stands out against the blander background of the site, which makes it easy to spot. At any stage, you’ll have more than 20 events to wager on, with odds that fluctuate as the game progresses. A digitized scoreboard with animations allows you to keep track of the score, so you never miss a goal or a homerun.

One of the great betting features at Caesars Sportsbook is the Boosts option. Selecting this from the Sports menu brings up a list of events with boosted odds, carefully curated by the Caesars team. If you place a bet with boosted odds, your payout is higher than it would have been with standard odds.

Another relatively standard sportsbook feature, is the option to cash out your bet before the game ends. The cashout option gives you the chance to maximize your profit on a bet or limit the amount you lose if your bet looks like it’s hitting the skids. It’s an effective way of keeping your wagering in check.

Setting up your Caesars Sportsbook account is a straightforward process that you have to follow before using the platform. If this is the first time you’re signing up for a sportsbook, don’t worry; we’ve laid out a step-by-step format below, so you really can’t go wrong.

  1. Navigate to Caesars Sportsbook. Your browser will direct you to the state-specific site depending on your location.
  2. Click the green Play Now button to enter the sportsbook.
  3. Once there, click on Sign Up in the top right corner of your screen. This opens up the first registration pop-up.
  4. Enter the required information and click on Next to move forward to the following pop-up.
  5. The second part of the process ensures the security of your account. Select your password, making sure to meet the requirements, and set your two security questions and answers.
  6. Enter the last four digits of your social security number and click Submit to finalize your account.
  7. Now you can navigate to the cashier to make your first deposit.

When making your deposit, don’t forget to enter your promo code for the Caesars Sportsbook sign-up bonus. With this welcome offer, your first bet up to $5,000 is risk-free as Caesars consoles you with free bet credits to cover the value of your wager should you lose. Always make sure that you read the terms and conditions to determine the limitations or restrictions on the bonus and the qualifying criteria.

The sign-up process is the same in every state, but you must be within state lines to register. You must also be at 21 years of age, as this is the legal requirement for sports betting in all states where Caesars Sportsbook is active.

The cashiering functions are vital to the smooth operation of the sportsbook and customer satisfaction. The ease with which you can conduct financial transactions plays a large part in whether you stick with Caesars or move to another sports betting platform.

Cashiering refers to all the financial aspects of the sportsbook, such as deposits, withdrawals, and payout time. Much like you would approach the cashier at a retail outlet, you deposit and submit withdrawal requests through the automated cashier at an online sportsbook. These are some of the cashiering functions we considered in our review:

Payout Time

This term refers to the length of time it takes for your money to reach your bank account from submitting your withdrawal request.

The faster you can access your winnings, the more inclined you are to continue betting at Caesars Sportsbook. Payout time is something that we consider carefully as we know how valuable your money is. However, for any sportsbook, there’s a waiting time between when you log your withdrawal request and when you receive your funds.

The Caesars team alleges that it processes withdrawals within 72 hours of receiving the request, and it promises a faster turnaround where possible. This shorter payout time is more often with banking methods like e-wallets where your funds reflect quickly, than bank transfers which are sometimes subject to delays.

Fast payouts also depend on the verification of your account. Caesars must ensure that you are who you say you are, so validating your identity is crucial to using the platform. The quicker you submit the relevant documents to verify your account, the faster your payout.

Deposit Options

The banking methods that Caesars supports for you to deposit funds into your betting account.

Minimum Deposit

The lowest amount that Caesars allows you to fund your account with.

Withdrawal Options

Similar to deposit options, these are the banking methods that you can use to withdraw funds from your betting account to your bank account.

Spending Control

Spending control forms part of the sportsbook’s responsible gambling policy and refers to the measures you can put in place to limit the amount of money you spend gambling.

When you register with a sportsbook, you must be confident with the banking methods that it supports. Being confronted with a list of options that you’re unfamiliar with immediately puts you on the back foot and makes you hesitant to trust the platform.

Luckily, Caesars Sportsbook supports an inclusive range of payment methods, making it amenable to the broad betting community. You can choose from the below methods when funding your sportsbook account.

Deposits into your betting account usually reflect within minutes, so you can continue betting without delay. Deposit options vary slightly between states. For example, Skrill is only available in New Jersey, and not every state’s Caesars Sportsbook supports PayPal. Additionally, only some states support the cash at cage option, although the website does mention that it will update customers when this is available in their state.

Caesars Sportsbook requires every deposit to be at least $20. This amount is fairly standard among sportsbooks, so it should come as no huge surprise if you’re familiar with online sports betting. While Caesars doesn’t have a maximum deposit limit, you may find that your financial institution only allows deposits up to a certain amount.

Caesars Sportsbook has a more limited range of withdrawal options than it does for deposits, which is not unheard of in the online sports betting industry. You can select one of the following to withdraw your winnings back to your bank account.

The cash at cage option is unavailable across all states, but Caesars advises that it will notify its customers when this method is possible. Once this rolls out, withdrawals will become more accessible to patrons.

PayPal is available for withdrawals in Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Tennessee, and West Virginia. You must first use this as your deposit method before you can withdraw into your PayPal account.

Caesars caters for withdrawals from $20 to $5,000. The lead time from submitting your request to receiving your funds into your bank account ranges from one to three days, although it also depends on your financial institution. While Caesars regularly manages to process withdrawals speedily, it has no control over external banking processes.

Before submitting your withdrawal request, make sure you’ve verified your account. If verification isn’t complete, you’ll likely encounter delays in receiving your funds. Likewise, ensure that you’ve met any wagering requirements so that your funds are available for withdrawal.

When you’re entering your personal information on a website, you need peace of mind that it’s not going to fall into the wrong hands. Caesars takes its responsibility to the safety and security of your data very seriously, and this is clear from the detailed Terms and Conditions/Privacy section under Help.

The first thing to consider is the sportsbook’s licensing. Betting on a platform that isn’t licensed in your jurisdiction is a huge risk and one you should never take. Caesars Sportsbook holds a valid license for each state it operates in and adheres to the strict regulations set out by the state-specific licensing authorities.

Caesars provides a detailed privacy policy that describes what information it collects from its customers, how it collects this, and who it shares the information with. We found nothing untoward in the policy. As these documents go, it’s pretty standard and includes much the same detail as other sportsbooks.

All your transactional data is protected by the latest encryption technology, with firewalls adding more layers of security. Caesars also makes several suggestions for further protection of your account. These include switching on the two-factor authentication feature and activating screen-locking on your mobile device.

Sportsbooks go out of their way to encourage betting by offering bonuses and promotions, but they also have a responsibility to their customers to protect them from letting their betting get out of control. Spending control is one of the measures available to bettors and forms part of the responsible gambling policy.

If you need to exercise more constraint when betting, you can set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on your account. These self-imposed limits assist you in managing your activity and maintaining control over your bankroll.

You can limit the amount you deposit or the amount you wager over a specified period. Caesars also allows you to set a limit on the time you spend betting, and if you feel you need a total break, you can log a cool-off period for up to 30 days.

The full responsible gambling policy is accessible through the general menu. You can find more details regarding spending control under Responsible Gambling in the Help section. This covers the time frames for which you can set your limits and provides details should you need to self-exclude from sports betting.

Caesars Sportsbook is one of several operators offering sports betting in each state and needs to stay competitive while maintaining its profitability. To this end, it takes a small percentage of each wager placed. We call this the hold, vigorish, or juice, and it’s common in all sportsbooks.,When reviewing the juice at Caesars Sportsbook, we found it to be in line with its contemporaries, offering a standard -110 on spreads and totals. As is common with sportsbooks, Caesars manipulates its juice to encourage betting on some teams or events. When it lowers the vig, it loses profit but attracts bettors who may otherwise have hesitated to grab that betting market.,While Caesars is generally among the most competitive, there are times its hold is too high, and this may push you to another operator. However, there are times when it offers unbeatable odds that you’d be crazy not to take. The inhouse team is backed by tons of experience, and although Caesars takes some opinionated positions, it manages to balance these with excellent odds elsewhere.

We’ve provided you with a lot of information in our Caesars Sportsbook review. We’ve looked at every aspect of this operator to give you the most balanced review we possibly can. But if you’re still wondering why bet with Caesars Sportsbook, let’s take another quick look at the key advantages.

Caesars welcomes new players with one of the most generous bonuses in the business. High rollers will embrace the $5,000 risk-free bet, but just as important, the Caesars sign-up bonus still benefits cautious bettors. Regardless of the value of your first wager, you receive your stake back in full if your bet loses.

We weren’t blown away by the look of the Caesars betting platform, but a site doesn’t have to be attractive to be functional. Although it’s bland and uninteresting on the surface, it’s easy to navigate and find the information you need. The mobile app is much more aesthetically pleasing and as functional as the desktop site. The menus are clear, and navigation from one screen to another is seamless.

Payment options vary according to state, with some being more limited than others. We would like to see PayPal and cash at cage payments rolled out to all the states with Caesars Sportsbook, but we’re confident that this will happen over time. That said, there are still sufficient banking methods to keep all bettors happy.

The main feature of the sportsbooks is the sports lineup, and Caesars hasn’t scrimped in this regard. You can keep it simple with traditional American sports, or you can rustle the feathers with something more challenging. There’s a decent A-Z list of sports to choose from that will satisfy even the most discerning bettor. On the whole, Caesars is a versatile sportsbook that is taking big strides with its new platform.
