The NFL released a statement on Monday announcing the indefinite suspension of Atlanta Falcons’ Calvin Ridley after the wide receiver gambled on games in 2021. According to the league, the earliest Ridley can apply for reinstatement is February 15, 2023. Ridley played in only five games for the Falcons in 2021, stepping away from the team in late October for personal reasons. Ridley said he bet $1,500 total, but now has lost his $11.1 million salary for 2022.
