Final Four: UConn Huskies vs Miami Hurricanes Odds, Prediction, & Start Time

The UConn Huskies faceoff against the Miami Hurricanes in the Final Four in Houston. After a tournament filled with upsets, UConn and Miami, a four and a five seed, are the two highest seeds remaining. 

UConn came into the tournament with championship aspirations, even though they were just a four seed, and so far they have met those expectations and beyond. Not only have the Huskies covered every game up until the Final Four, they have done so in dominating fashion, winning each game by 15+ points, including an 82-54 blowout of Gonzaga in the Elite 8.

Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino had high praise for UConn after they beat Iona in the first round, telling Huskies head coach Dan Hurley, “Win it all. Take it home. You’ve got the team to do it.” UConn is led by junior forward Adam Sanogo, who is averaging 20 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in the tournament.

Miami is quickly turning into a basketball powerhouse, making the Elite 8 last year and the Final Four this year. They have also looked dominant throughout their tournament run, beating the 1,2, and 4 seeds in their region all by at least seven points.

Texas was up by 12 points with 12 minutes remaining in the game, and then the tides turned and Miami came storming back. They ended up winning 88-81 behind a monster performance from Jordan Miller who scored 27 points and shot a perfect 7/7 from the field and 13/13 from the free throw line.

UConn will continue their dominance and reach their fifth national championship game by beating Miami handedly and cover the -5.5 point spread.
