To say our picks have been on fire during the NBA Finals would be a huge compliment to fire. We went 4-0 in picks for Game 3 and repeated the feat for Game 5. Let’s see if we can have another perfect night on what is possibly the last night of NBA action for four months. Here are our top four NBA picks for Game 6.
1. Celtics -4 (-105, Points Bet)
Later tonight, the Warriors will either have cemented a dynasty with their fourth title in eight seasons or the Celtics will have forced a seventh game, and the teams will be heading back West to settle things on Sunday night. We’ve been on the Celtics train all series and correctly picked them in games 1 and 3. Well, we’re going to do it again tonight. The atmosphere will be incredible, the Warriors have shown they can get rattled, and while they might take Game 7 at home, they aren’t winning in Boston tonight.
2. Under 210 Points (-108, FanDuel)
The past two games and three of the past four have all gone under. The losing team has scored more than 100 points thus far in a series that is yet to feature a single game decided by fewer than 10 points, keeping on theme after a postseason that has been full of blowouts. The defenses have really been tightening up since Game 1 and it would shock us one team scored 105 points, let alone two.
3. Stephen Curry Under 28.5 Points (-102, FanDuel)
4. Stephen Curry Under 4.5 Threes (-111, FanDuel)
Curry’s point totals in this series are as follows: 34, 29, 31, 43, and 16 for a per game average of 30.6. He is the heavy favorite to be named Finals MVP; with -360 odds entering Game 6. However, his three point shooting was unsustainable in Games 1-4, as he hit almost half of his three point attempts in those four games combined, shooting 25 of 51.
While he also isn’t going to repeat Game 5’s 0 for 9 from deep, he was a 38 percent three point shooter this season and is at 42.8 percent for his career. We’re going under tonight
