washington commanders 20 vs new york giants 20
ANALYSIS
The Giants host the Commanders in this critical matchup that will change the picture of the NFC East.
Coming off of back to back losses to the Lions and Cowboys, the G-Men have recently looked like the Giants of old. Saquan Barkley was stifled last week, running for only 39 yards on 11 carries. Barkley didn’t play much better last week as he ran for only 22 yards on 15 totes. If the Giants want to start winning they will need to get their best player rolling. It probably does not help that Saquon is playing behind a bad offensive line, but the Giants need to be more creative in the way they use their star RB.
The Commanders have been rolling. Ever since their major upset against the Eagles 3 weeks ago, the Commanders have not lost. Taylor Heinicke is not going anywhere as he has led the Commanders to 5-1 record in the 6 games he has played. Heinicke has 7 TDs and 5 INTs with 1,169 passing yards. Rookie RB Brian Robinson Jr. broke out last week, rumbling for 105 yards on 18 carries while hauling in a receiving TD.
