The Best NBA Bets: March 29

There are five games on Tuesday’s NBA schedule but all five of them have major playoff implications. The Bucks and the 76ers will fight to stay in the race for the top spot out East while the Lakers will likely be missing LeBron James as they try to avoid missing the play-in tournament altogether. Here are our top three NBA picks for Tuesday night.

Lakers @ Mavs!

The Bet: Mavs -11.5 (-110, Bet MGM)

The Lakers are truly in desperation mode now as a loss tonight will drop them into a tie with the San Antonio Spurs for the final play-in tournament spot.

Dallas is in a fight of its own, trying to hold on to the fourth spot in the standings, where they would currently play the Utah Jazz.

The Lakers have lost two straight games and six of their last eight. The trends get worse when you dig a little deeper: they are 2-13 in their last 15 road games and are 11-25 on the road this season.

The teams have split a pair of games this season, with the road team winning both times. LeBron James is doubtful with an ankle injury, which explains the double digit spread. We’re taking Dallas anyway; the Lakers are bad with LeBron, they’re atrocious without him.

Bucks @ 76ers

The Bet: 76ers -1.5 (-110, DraftKings)

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks are in a four-way race for the top spot in the Eastern conference playoffs.

The road team has won both matchups between the teams this season, with their most recent encounter happening in February when the 76ers won 123-120 in Milwaukee behind 42 points and 14 rebounds from Joel Embiid. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points and added 11 boards and 9 assists in the loss.

The Bucks have had a pair of days off to stew in the blowout loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday while the 76ers lost to the Suns on Sunday snapping a three game winning streak.

Milwaukee’s lost performance was troubling so we like the home team here.

Bulls @ Wizards

The Bet: Bulls -3 (-110, DraftKings)

The Bulls are in a three way battle for two spots that avoid the play-in tournament while the Wizards need to end the season on an 8-0 run to have a chance at continuing their season.

The Bulls have defeated the Wizards twice already this season.

Chicago has lost six of its last eight games and is also 2-6 ATS in that span. The Bulls have only covered in one of their last 11 road games. Washington is coming off an upset win over the Warriors.

Chicago is our best NBA bet for tonight. The Wizards have been competitive as of late, but this line is too small. The Bulls are an amazing 36-9 outright as favorites this season and we’re thinking it will be 37-9 tonight.

NBA Finals Futures Odds Update at All-Star Break: 2024 Championship Favorites

The NBA All-Star break is more of the two-third points of the regular season instead of the halfway mark. However, that’s fine by us because we’re always ready for it to be playoff time. Plus, with just about 30 games to play,...
