On Wednesday, the Thunder continue their push for the playoffs as they host the struggling Rockets. This is the fourth and final matchup this season between the two squads. The Rockets have taken two of three thus far. 

The Thunder (27-29) come into Wednesday playing solid basketball, winning 9 of their last 15. They are currently a half game out of the final play-in tournament spot. They are competing because of the emergence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The 24 year old all star is averaging a 30.9 points on 50.9% shooting and 5.7 assists a game. 

The Rockets come in having lost 17 of 20 while allowing the 2nd most points per game over that stretch. They sit at the bottom of the NBA at 13-44 with their sights set on the draft lottery. Second year sensation Jalen Green is putting up impressive numbers, averaging 21.9 points a game, but it is nowhere near enough what the Rockets need to win games.
