Overview

The SuperBook sportsbook has been a giant in the industry for decades—and their online sports betting site and coinciding app continue to grow.

You can definitely wager on your favorite sports with Superbook, and they do have some exciting features, but they pale in comparison to many of their competitors.

Unfortunately, SuperBook’s lack of promos, odds boosts, and betting markets keep the site from truly competing with the big names in the online sports betting industry.

SuperBook Welcome Bonus & Other Promotions

Welcome Bonus

SuperBook offers new users a straightforward, unspectacular sign-up bonus that will give you 100% first wager bonus (win or lose) after you make your first bet. However, your first bet must take place on the same day as sign-up and it must be on odds of -200 or less (e.g. -400 odds are ineligible, -100 and +200 are eligible). There is no promo code required for this bonus.

It’s important to know that your initial wager can be a maximum of $500 for you to qualify for this bonus. Straight bets, parlays, and teasers will qualify, but round robin wagers will not. Also, this bonus voucher is applied to 25% of qualifying bets (e.g. a $200 wager will be returned in $150 real cash funds and $50 in bonus funds.

Something else you should know is the bonus funds that are bet will not be returned as part of your winnings. Lastly, remember to check your bet slip to ensure your bonus funds are being applied!

SuperBook Welcome Bonus & Other Promotions

Other Promotions and Offers

This is where the SuperBook sportsbook falls flat on its face in all honesty. Their leading competitors like FanDuel, DraftKings, and others boast numerous different types of promotions, odds boosts, and offers. Yet, SuperBook doesn’t have a single promotion for you to take advantage of.

The lone promotion currently available is the SuperBook $50 Refer a Friend Bonus. The person you refer must be previously unenrolled. They then need to make an account and use the referral code for you to receive the $50 in bonus funds.

SuperBook Other Promotions and Offers

We were disappointed to see the lack of promotions when conducting the research for our SuperBook sportsbook review. They do claim to have odds boosts though.

However, after clicking on the “Check Out Our Latest Odds Boosts” icon, this unfortunate page comes up more often than you’d like it to:

You will find better promotions, bonuses, and profit/odds boosts at other prominent sportsbooks such as BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, and FanDuel.

Superbook’s Key Features

The SuperBook sportsbook has decades of experience creating odds for sporting events—and they are one of the most trusted names in the business. As far as key features go, SuperBook covers the basics.

SuperBook’s Key Features

Live Betting

If an online sportsbook doesn’t provide live betting in 2024, then they aren’t worth your time. Luckily, SuperBook offers this key feature. You have the ability to wager on events that are happening live, with odds changing by the second. Their live betting options aren’t as extensive as many other sites, but they have the essentials (i.e., moneylines, spreads, and totals).

Early Cash Out

Early cash out is a newer feature to SuperBook, and it’s only available for select events. Unfortunately, the site isn’t 100% clear on what constitutes an early cash out wager. Their promo says “Please see your active bets screen to view options”. The site’s lack of transparency with this feature can get a tad frustrating, but at least they’re finally offering it.

Same-Game Parlays

Another must-have betting feature is same-game parlays. Parlays have become a favorite way for bettors to bet and every sportsbook allows you to place multiple wagers on the same bet slip. Many books post same-game parlays that they create so you don’t have to entirely make your own. But yet again, SuperBook just has the basics. No same-game parlay builder or anything like that.

Betting Markets

A common theme with SuperBook is that they cover the basics, but you won’t find many extra features that stand out from other online betting sites. The same can be said for their betting markets. Sure, they have your typical NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and NCAA markets, but they fall flat when it comes to the more obscure betting markets that many sites offer nowadays. Here’s what they’re currently allowing you to wager on:

A handful of sports that you are unable to bet on using SuperBook are:

Odds Comparison

Based in Las Vegas, SuperBook is in touch with the combat sports area of betting. They provide an impressive range of odds for MMA and boxing, including futures and lines on potential bouts. Their MMA odds are favorable and they have more future odds posted than most other books at the moment.

SuperBook’s Odds Comparison

SuperBook also has a robust MLB odds section where you can make wagers on a plethora of futures for the season, such as: MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year, Pitching Wins, Home Run Title, and more.

Meanwhile, their NBA odds are simple and won’t blow you away. Oddly enough, they are inconsistent with the bet-types that can be made for each contest. For example, they’ll post player props for one game, but they won’t have player props for another game on the same night.

Lastly, crafting your own same-game parlays can be a frustrating process on SuperBook. For whatever reason, many simple same-game parlays that would be acceptable on other sites aren’t able to be made into same-game parlays on SuperBook. You can make parlays for moneyline bets from different games, but their same-game parlays are very limited.

SuperBook Sportsbook User Experience

Our SuperBook sportsbook review takes an in-depth look into the site’s user experience—and we were fairly impressed. The desktop site is bold and boasts an easy-to-use layout with featured bets located in the middle section of the page, other sports on the left, and your bet slip on the right.

Sure, the SuperBook betting site isn’t going to blow you away or present aspects that you haven’t seen on other betting sites, but they nail the basics. They also possess a nifty little feature called “Regional Teams”, which contains all the live and upcoming events for teams in your area. For instance, the New Jersey site’s “Regional Teams” section has local NCAAB odds for teams like Rutgers and Monmouth as well as NHL odds for the Devils and Flyers.

Overall, the SuperBook website is easy to navigate and accessible for both beginners and experienced bettors alike. Things are easy to find on the site, which is helpful when trying to place either a last-minute or  live bet. You won’t find annoying ads or pop-ups, which is a breath of fresh air in this day and age.

SuperBook Sportsbook User Experience

Mobile Experience

The SuperBook app experience is similar to that of the desktop. The layout makes things easy to find and the app’s speed is nothing to complain about. Going to the list of sports, your bet slip, promos, and your profile are all one click away.

There aren’t any app-specific promos or features which is a bummer though. On top of that, they’re late on posting odds boosts and upcoming live-streaming events, both of which are pretty frustrating as a user.

Moreover, don’t expect to have much of a different experience using the SuperBook app compared to the desktop version. Layouts are similar, speeds are about the same, and promotions (or lack thereof) are congruent.

With no official loyalty or VIP rewards programs, SuperBook tends to only provide promotions and odds/profit boosts to loyal, returning customers. Whereas, books like FanDuel and DraftKings boast frequent promotions and bonuses to every user regardless of whether or not you’re a regular customer.

Does SuperBook Have Good Customer Service?

What we found in doing our SuperBook sportsbook review is that they are a very trustworthy and secure betting partner. You won’t run into fraudulent activity or many problems at all—and if you do—they have a very helpful customer care staff.

Have a query or issue? We recommend contacting their customer service line at 844-726-7264 to speak with a live representative. Wait time is usually minimal and the expert staff is always happy to help you solve your issue(s).

Does SuperBook Have Good Customer Service

Don’t feel like speaking to a live representative? That’s fine. Shoot them an email at info@superbook.com to get in touch with a team member. Notably, their customer support hours are daily from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. ET. Many sites offer 24/7 customer service, which SuperBook does not.

For more information on SuperBook’s customer support channels: You can look on their website where they post all of their contact info as well as a form you could fill out if you just want some quick assistance.

Editor’s Choice

The SuperBook sportsbook possesses about as many positives as it does negatives to be perfectly honest. We’ve discussed their lack of promotions, bonuses, and odds/profit boosts—meaning they fall flat in many basic categories—but they also don’t boast any features that stand out from competitors.

If we were just going based off of site/app navigability, SuperBook would rank right up there with the top sportsbooks. However, after taking everything into consideration, SuperBook is a ways down the list of our top-recommended online sportsbooks you can play at.

All in all, SuperBook gets lost in the flooded market of online sports betting sites. If they improve upon certain aspects, they have the foundation and trustworthiness to become a big-hitter in the industry. Yet, that remains to be seen.

Summary

After completing our SuperBook sportsbook review, we give it a score of 7.5 out of 10 for all of the reasons listed throughout the review. If you just want the basics without any clutter or confusion, then SuperBook can serve as a great online sports betting option for you. They have a solid range of markets, your run-of-the-mill betting types, and a user-friendly interface.

Although, if you’re a bettor who likes to take advantage of daily promotions and bonuses, then SuperBook will disappoint you. Still, go ahead and make an account with SuperBook to form your own conclusive thoughts on the book. It’s entirely possible that you’ll love betting with SuperBook.

Are there better options out there? Definitely. However, that doesn’t mean SuperBook can’t serve a purpose in your sports betting life. Remember, they contain some of the best UFC, MMA, and boxing futures that we’ve seen on the market. It’s little things like that where you can find value in wagering with SuperBook.
