The NFL schedule was made assuming the Packers, Bucs, Rams, and Broncos would be must-watch teams. Instead they’ve turned into the apple picking teams. If you see a matchup involving Matthew Stafford or Russell Wilson, that’s a sign to spend some time with your family. Here are the Week 10 picks from a guy with as much head coaching experience as Jeff Saturday.
Falcons (-2.5) over PANTHERS
Does anyone think that P.J. Walker is actually better than Baker Mayfield? (I do believe he’s better than Sam Darnold, though.)
This is Denver’s last chance to salvage their season. Tennessee at 5-3 in the AFC South can take a nap for a month and still win the division.
BEARS (-3) over Lions (BEST BET)
Don’t look now but Justin Fields is good.
Justin Fields: Officially good.
GIANTS (-5) over Texans
The Texans offense has topped 20 points just once all season.
CHIEFS (-9.5) over Jaguars
The Kansas City loss to the Colts, which was weird at the time, now looks like the strangest result of the NFL season.
Vikings (+3.5) over BILLS
Josh Allen threw two bad interceptions last week and held his arm after every throw. Even if he plays, he won’t be 100%.
Josh Allen: More banged up than we think?
Saints (+1.5) over STEELERS
The Steelers are 1-6 since a Week 1 win. The Saints are 2-6 after a Week 1 win.
RAIDERS (-6) over Colts
The Raiders have allowed at least 20 points in every game this season. I’m not sure if the Colts could score 20 if games had 60 minute quarters.
RAMS (-1.5) over Cardinals
This is a good week for the Rams to start turning their season around. The defending champions play the Saints next week, and after that they still need to play the Seahawks twice plus the entire AFC West.
Cowboys (-5) OVER PACKERS
From a TV perspective, this is generally the biggest game on the NFL calendar. The Packers have basically been unwatchable this year, though. Dallas is now down to +1400 to win the Super Bowl.
Chargers (+7) over 49ERS
This line just feels way too high.
EAGLES (-11) over Commanders
The Eagles beat the Commanders 24-8 in Washington in Week 3.
