new orleans saints 16 vs tampa bay buccaneers 17
ANALYSIS
Two teams coming off tough road losses look to get back on track with a win on Monday Night Football.
Even after a loss, and a 5-6 record, Tom Brady and the Bucs have hold of the #1 spot in the NFC South. Brady played very solid in the loss, throwing for 246 yards and 2 TDs. 110 of his yards went To Chris Godwin, who also grabbed 12 catches as well as a TD. The Game went to overtime after a miracle one hand grab from David Njoku with 32 seconds left on the clock. In OT, Nick Chubb was able to punch it in from 3 yards out to close the game with just 19 seconds left.
The Saints got dominated on offense last week, as they put up a doughnut for the first time since 2001 in the 13-0 loss. On the bright side, their defense played very well as they held a talented 49ers offense to just 13 points.
Andy Dalton had an empty 204 yards passing, and surprisingly led the team in rushing with 21 yards. That is not the formula for winning football. Alvin Kamara has been having the worst year of his career. The RB has only one TD on the ground this year with only 131 rushing attempts; 20th in the league. The Saints are now 4-8 and sit at third in the NFC South.
