houston texans 16 vs new york giants 24

ANALYSIS

The Giants were expected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Houston Texans actually are the worst team in the league, at least according to their record. The teams will meet on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Brian Daboll will get Coach of the Year consideration for his job rebuilding the Giants who had a week off after falling to 6-2 two weeks ago with a 27-13 loss to Seattle. Saquon Barkley’s re-emergence as a star has been a story, as the Comeback Player of the Year candidate has rushed for 779 yards and 5 TD.

Houston is the only team in the NFL with less than 2 wins, sporting a 1-6-1 record after last Thursday’s 29-17 loss to the Eagles last Thursday night. Davis Mills has seemingly taken a step back in his second season and the Houston offense has topped 20 points just once all season.

WHY BET ON THE houston texans

The Texans are looking to snap an 8 game losing streak against NFC teams. Houston has lost six of its last seven games, going 3-3-1 ATS in that stretch. The Texans are 4-1 ATS when facing spreads 6.5 or larger this season.

WHY BET ON THE new york giants

The Giants have won four of their last five games and have covered in all six of their wins this season. Despite being 6-2, this will be just the third time all season that the Giants are favored; they are 1-1 in those games.
