las vegas raiders 34 vs los angeles rams 17
ANALYSIS
Davante Adams and the Raiders will look to continue their winning streak against the bottom-feeder Rams in LA.
Although their season is all but lost, it is impossible to deny that the Derek Carr to Davante Adams has been special. In last week’s divisional matchup with the Raiders, Carr connected with Adams on 8 of 12 targets for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns. Josh Jacobs continued to prove why he was the most slept-on RB this year, carrying the ball 26 times for 144 yards and a TD. It is a shame the Vegas defense is not as potent as the offense because if it was, the Raiders’ season would be looking a whole lot different right now.
Considering the Rams were without their starting quarterback, WR1, WR2, and Aaron Donald, they did an admirable job at keeping last week’s game against the Seahawks a close contest. Cam Akers led the backfield with 17 carries, but was inefficient, averaging only 3.5 ypc. On the Bright side, Akers was able to reach the end zone twice. The passing game predictably went nowhere as backup QB John Wolford threw for 178 empty yards and 2 picks.
