miami dolphins 36 vs los angeles chargers 34
ANALYSIS
Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins head to LA to take on Justin Herbert and the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.
After scoring 30+ points for 4 straight weeks, the Fins offense came crashing back to earth against the elite 49ers defense, only putting up 17 points in the loss. Tua only completed 54% of his passes and threw 2 picks, but he did throw for 295 yards and 2 TDs . 146 of those yards as well as a touchdown went to Tyreek Hill. Hill continues to prove that he is one of the most matchup proof WRs in the NFL, and doesn’t need Patrick Mahomes to dominate opposing secondaries. The Fins snapped their 5 game win streak but will look to get right against the Chargers.
The Chargers offense was stifled by Chandler Jones and the Raiders in last week’s 20-27 loss. The score does not reflect how poorly the offense played, as 14 of those points came from a pick 6, and a 35 yard prayer on 4th and 12 from Justin Herbert that Keenan Allen somehow grabbed for a TD. Herbert was sacked 5 times and although he was able to throw for 335 yards only had 1 TD to show for it. Austin Ekeler had no room on the ground, and ran for only 35 yards on 10 attempts.
