The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Los Angeles Chargers at TIAA Bank Field on Saturday Night for this Super Wild Card Weekend matchup. This game represent a rematch from earlier this season, as the Jags snagged a surprise victory on the road over the Chargers in Week 3.

The Chargers (10-7, 11-5-1 ATS) surged into the playoffs with an impressive second half of the season. Los Angeles grabbed the AFC’s 5-seed thanks to wins in four of their final five games. The Chargers built their attack around quarterback Justin Herbert, who finished second in passing yards (4,739), and running back Austin Ekeler, who ranked eighth in total yards (1,637). These two players provided stability for an offense that often missed some of its top receiving talent. 

The Jaguars (9-8, 8-8-1 ATS) also found their rhythm as the year progressed. After a slow start to the season, Jacksonville reeled off five straight wins to close the season, including a win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 18 to clinch the AFC South division title. While the offense has been much improved under new head coach Doug Peterson, the defense sparked this late run. The Jags defense held opponents to just 15.6 points per game during their five-game winning streak. 

Jacksonville shocked the NFL with their dominant win over the Chargers earlier this season. The Jags defense forced two turnovers and scored on a fumble return, limiting Los Angeles to just 10 points in that one. The Chargers will be looking for revenge in this one.
