The AFC Conference Championship provided arguably the best game of the NFL Playoffs to this point. The Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs both put together excellent performances behind Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes, respectively. Regardless, the Chiefs ended up with the victory by a score of 23 to 20 on a walk-off Harrison Butker field goal.
In the NFC Conference Championship, things went a lot differently. The Philadelphia Eagles took full command over the San Francisco 49ers from start to finish, booking a ticket to the Super Bowl in blowout fashion, 31-7. Jalen Hurtsput together an admirable performance and the running back corps for the Eagles including Miles Sanderstook advantage. The 49ers dealt with a plethora of injuries throughout the game, providing the Eagles a breezy win.
With all of that in mind, the Chiefs and Eagles will meet up in the Super Bowl with very different resumés. This is sure to be an outstanding Super Bowl LVII with two teams that have feature some of the league’s greatest stars.
Let’s discuss some of the best bets, picks, and predictions for this year’s Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Eagles.

The Chiefs (14-3) possess one of the highest-powered offenses in the NFL behind Mahomes, rookie running back Isiah Pacheco, and tight end Travis Kelce. Their defense has been better than most evaluators give credit for, something that will come in handy in this particular matchup.
Kansas City has won seven straight contests dating back to Week 14, carrying an average margin of victory of eight points in those games. During this stretch, they have toppled the Seahawks, Jaguars, and Bengals.
Mahomes (ankle) was injured in the Divisional Round matchup with Jacksonville and was noticeably hobbling in the AFC Championship against Cincinnati, but he will now receive two weeks off to heal up and should be good to go for the Super Bowl.
The Eagles (14-3) have been on a war path as of late behind dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurtsand the dynamic receiving duo of A.J. Brownand DeVonta Smith. Across their two playoff games, they have scored a whopping 69 points, allowing just 14.
Philadelphia carries one of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL and their offensive line is a huge part of the reason. Their defense is solid with excellent pieces like Haason Reddick and Darius Slay.
Naturally, both of these teams are outstanding with little to no noteworthy holes. This Super Bowl looks to be a close one on paper. However, let’s see if we can find a little value on the moneyline, spread, or game total for the Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Eagles.
Chiefs vs Eagles Moneyline
Let’s start this off with an interesting statistic: Teams are 1-15 outright in weeks following a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The one team who won? The Kansas City Chiefs. While trends like this are mostly just fun, small sample size observations, there could be something to it.
Regardless, the experience of Mahomes and Kelce who should both be at full health come the day of the Super Bowl, should play a key role.
We are backing the CHIEFS ML (+105) with a full belief that Mahomes and company put together a game-winning drive to spice things up.
Last time these teams played, it was all Mahomes to Tyreek Hill
Chiefs vs Eagles Spread
If we are taking the Chiefs on the moneyline, that means we have to take them against the spread as well. With the spread resting at a minuscule 1.5 points, taking the moneyline in either direction is the much smarter play anyways.
The same logic applies against the spread as it does with the moneyline, so we are taking CHIEFS +1.5 (-110) with a preferred bet on the moneyline odds instead.
Best Bet: Chiefs +1.5 (-110)
49ers vs Eagles Over/Under
Betting on the Super Bowl total is interesting with this game considering that it has all the makings of a true shootout. However, both teams have done well defensively as of late against some excellent offensive teams.
With the Eagles loving to run the football and the Chiefs preferring to sling it, a 49.5 total seems reasonably placed. The mathematical projection for this game has it going Under, but there are always theatrics in the Super Bowl when two high-octane offenses meet up.
As such, we are backing the OVER 49.5 (-110) for this game because of the offensive ceilings that both the Chiefs and Eagles possess.
