Week 6 College Football Picks (Oct. 10)

We’ve won two-thirds of our college football bets so far this season (okay, four out of six) and we’re planning on keeping the good times rolling.

College Football Pick Week 6 Picks

Home teams in CAPS

BYU (+3.5) over Notre Dame (Game is in Las Vegas)

BYU is ranked 16th, with their lone loss coming to Oregon. Notre Dame is, of course, unranked, with losses to Ohio State (respectable) and Marshall (subsequently lost to Bowling Green and Troy)).

BYU has not covered in wins over Wyoming and Utah State but did cover in a 26-20 win over Baylor earlier in September as a -2.5 favorite.

We would like BYU at these odds in Notre Dame Stadium. In Vegas, this is one of our best bets of the year.

Auburn (+30) over GEORGIA

Auburn Tigers running back Tank Bigsby (4) runs against Georgia Bulldogs inside linebacker Quay Walker (7) at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. Auga03

Auburn is 3-2 on the season with a close loss to LSU last week and a blowout loss to Penn State, by 29 as a +2.5 underdog.

Georgia is 5-0 but has only covered twice, and just beat Missouri by 4 points as a -30.5 favorite last week. The week prior, they beat  Kentucky by 17 as a -45 favorite.

Even last year, when Georgia won the national title, they were 2-3 ATS as a 30+ point favorite.

TCU (-6.5) over KANSAS (home)

The last time these teams played in Kansas, the Horned Frogs won 59-23. Last year, at TCU, Kansas lost 31-28.

Kansas has covered in eight straight games, dating back to last season.

TCU ran over the Oklahoma Sooners last week 55-23 and have covered in all three games against FBS competition this season. Beating Houston is one thing, it’s hard to imagine the Jayhawks outsourcing this TCU team.

This Season: 4-2
