Home teams in CAPS
ARKANSAS (+17) over Alabama
Wanna hear a secret? This is not a vintage Alabama team by any means. Yes they have the reigning Heisman trophy winner at QB and arguably the best defensive player in the country but most of their skill position guys would have rode the pine for any Crimson Tide team in recent memory. Will Alabama win? Probably. But 17 points is too many on the road against a top 25 SEC team after ‘Bama beat a meh Texas team by 1.
Purdue (+12.5) over MINNESOTA
Minnesota has destroyed everything in its path this season, winning its first four games by 27 points or more. Purdue has played games decided by 2,3, and 4 points. Why do I think this will be close? The last three times these teams played the game was decided by a touchdown. Purdue’s offense has scored at least 28 points in every game this season. Minnesota will win by single digits.
Wake Forest (+7) over FLORIDA ST.
Wake Forest is better than Florida State. Wake has blown out VMI and Vanderbilt, beaten Liberty by 1 and lost 51-45 to Clemson. The Seminoles blew out Duquesne and Boston College, beat LSU by 1 and Louisville by 4. Sam Hartman (13 TD, 2 INT) will be the best player on the field and A.T. Perry is the best receiver in this game.

The controversy that fueled sports debates shows for a month is suddenly in the rear-view mirror. Whether undefeated Florida State deserved to be in the College Football Playoff over Texas or Alabama is now a moot point. Both the Longhorns...
Dabo Swinney became Clemson head coach in 2009. The Tigers have been the gold standard in the ACC just about ever since. Clemson won the National Championship in 2016 and 2018. Coach Dabo’s squad has also won at least 10 games every year s...
Since 2017, Michigan and Ohio St. are the only two teams that have won the Big Ten and/or appeared in the College Football Playoff from the league. Both squads are once again the favorites to win the conference, but will this be the year...
