denver nuggets 119 vs orlando magic 124

ANALYSIS

The first place Nuggets visit the Magic in Orlando on Thursday night. This is the second and final matchup between Denver and Orlando this year, with the Nuggets winning the first game, 119-116 on January 16.

The Nuggets have been stellar all year, with a record of 37-17,  4.5 games ahead of the second place Grizzlies. Nikola Jokic is banged up and listed as questionable for Thursday’s game. Jokic is on pace to be the fourth player in NBA history to win three straight MVPs, with his current odds at -115 on Fanduel. Only Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, and Larry Bird have done it before.

The Magic have been mediocre this year, but rookie Paulo Banchero has been a bright spot. Since being drafted first overall, Banchero leads the team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals, a true do it all player. Orlando looks to break the streak of losing nine out of their last ten games to Denver.

WHY BET ON THE denver nuggets

Despite the Nuggets strong record, they are only 10-15 ATS in away games. The over hits more than 66% of the time when Denver plays an Eastern conference opponent.

WHY BET ON THE orlando magic

Although the Magic are 1-9 against Denver in their last ten matchups, they are 4-4-2 ATS in those games.
