After being the number one seed in the East last year, the Heat have fallen off a bit this season. They are the sixth seed in the East with a 30-25 record, 2.5 games back from the fifth seed Nets. Defensive anchor Bam Adebayo leads the Heat with 10 rebounds and almost one block per game. Adebayo is second in Defensive Player of the Year odds at +700 on Fanduel. 

The Rockets come into Friday night with the worst record in the league at 13-42. They have a young team with a lot of raw talent and they are hoping to add more in the coming draft. Second year guard Jalen Green is averaging 21.6 points per game on 41.1% shooting from the field.
