The Nuggets travel to South Beach on Monday to take on the Miami Heat. Denver has dominated this matchup as of late, winning eight of the last ten games they’ve played against each other. 

The Denver Nuggets are on pace for their second best record in franchise history. With a 39-18 record, Denver has a relatively large cushion of four games at the top of the Western conference. Reigning back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic is looking to become only the third player ever to average a triple double as he is putting up 24.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 10.1 assists per game so far this year. 

The Heat enter Monday night with a 32-25 record, standing at sixth in the East. They are only 1.5 games back from the Nets, who just traded two superstars, so Miami is hoping they can avoid the play-in games until the end of the regular season. Bam Adebayo, who is second on Fanduel in Defensive Player of the Year odds at +700, anchors the Heat’s defense, which has the fourth best defensive rating in the league.
