Can the Knicks finally beat a team above .500 when they take on the Nuggets?

The Knicks MO this season has been beating up on bad teams but falling short against good ones. The Knicks last win came against the Pistons, and RJ Barrett had his best game of the season going for 30/5/5 on 59% shooting. If he can continue to elevate his play to true All Star levels, and Jalen Brunson can continue being the best point guard the Knicks have had in years, they should be able to notch a few wins against competitive teams, otherwise they’ll remain firmly in the middle of the pack.

The Nuggets had been rolling on a 4-game win streak before getting smacked in the mouth by the Celtics in a 19-point blowout. They could not contain the Celtics’ duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown who combined for 59 points on 61% shooting on the night. Nikola Jokic continues to play at an MVP level, but his scoring is significantly down this season from 27.1 ppg last season to 21.8 this year.

Before they play each other, The Knicks will be at home against the Thunder on Sunday, in Utah against the Jazz on Tuesday night, and the Nuggets have the Bulls in Chicago on Monday night.
