NBA Game 7 Best Bets: Sunday, May 15

Two teams have already clinched spots in the final four of professional basketball, while two more will do the job today. Boston and Dallas did what was necessary in their respective Game 6s to ensure we had an exciting day of basketball today. Now, it’s our job to do what’s necessary to make sure it’s profitable, and we like these two sides the best:

Best NBA Bets Today

Boston @ Milwaukee

The Bet: Celtics -5 (-108, FanDuel)

Game 6 was another barn burner in this series – Boston led most of the way but it took about 45 of the game’s 48 minutes for them to feel comfortable and put the Bucks away. But that makes it five of six games in which Boston was the better team overall, and that should continue in Game 7 at home.

Giannis has undoubtedly been the series’ (and league’s) best player, but he needs more help, and unless Khris Middleton is going to pull a Willis Reed, it doesn’t look like that’s happening.

Boston has covered seven of ten playoff games to date and eight of ten games against Milwaukee this season. They are the better team, and they’ll play like it in this decisive contest.

Dallas @ Phoenix

The Bet: Mavs +6.5 (-110, Bet MGM)

The Suns are the better team in this series, but they are not playing like it. Dallas has held serve at home and has one last chance to steal a road game against the best regular season team in the league. But based on the eye test, the Suns look a little burnt out. Chris Paul is not his first round self.

Mikal Bridges isn’t hitting shots the way he needs to. They’re still a deeper, more talented team than the Mavs, but when Luka is playing like he is, and the supporting cast gets hot for significant stretches, the gap between these teams closes hard.

Phoenix should still be expected to win at home, where they only dropped one game this playoffs (without Devin Booker at that), but Dallas is closer than six points to this Suns team at this moment and should cover the spread in a nail-biter.

The NBA All-Star break is more of the two-third points of the regular season instead of the halfway mark. However, that’s fine by us because we’re always ready for it to be playoff time. Plus, with just about 30 games to play,...
