Tonight is one of the best nights of the entire NBA regular season. We have Luka Doncic and the Mavericks against Stephen Curry and the Warriors. There is the re-hot Heat against the reeling Nets, who are desperate for a W. We have another battle of Los Angeles, between the Clippers and the Lakers. Chicago versus Atlanta and Memphis at Boston are also both excellent games.

These teams will play for the fourth time in 2022 as the Mavericks look to win the season series in what could be a Western conference playoff preview.
The Mavericks won the first matchup this season as a +4.5 home underdog back in January 99-82 as Luka Doncic scored 26. Golden State repaid the favor with a 130-92 thrashing on January 25 as seven Warriors scored in double figures. On Sunday, Dallas went into Golden State and won 107-101 as a +4 underdog behind Luka’s 34 points and 11 rebounds.
The Mavericks have won 8 of their last 10 games and have covered in five straight. Golden State has won 2 of its last 8 games and has only covered once in that stretch. Golden State has shown that they are not the same team without Draymond Green so grab the Mavericks in our best bet of the week.

Here’s the truth: Miami might be the best team in the NBA but no one has fully accepted that possibility yet.
The Heat have already defeated the Nets twice this season and Brooklyn is absolutely reeling right now, having won just 3 of its last 18 games.
The Heat beat the Nets by 13 in October as a +3.5 road underdog and then won 115-111 in February as a -11.5 home favorite.
This line opened higher but has fallen to 3 or 3.5, a suspiciously small number for teams ten games apart in the standings and headed in wildly different directions.
The last time the Lakers beat the Clippers was in the bubble in Orlando on July 30, 2020. Since then the Clippers have defeated the Lakers six times in a row, covering in five of those games.
While three of the four superstars who play in Los Angeles are out long term, LeBron James has been trying to keep the Lakers afloat, but he is questionable for Thursday’s contest with a knee issue. Avery Bradley may also miss the game with a knee injury.
The Clippers have a winning record, unlike the Lakers, but more importantly, are trending upwards while the Lakers are making headlines seemingly every day with their myriad of issues.
Expect the Clippers to win their fifth straight game. You might have been fine grabbing them at -4.5, so lock it in at -2.5.
