The Saints are coming off a heartbreaking 48-46 loss to San Francisco last week, but they have a chance to bounce back against a struggling Colts team that has lost five out of their last six games after starting the season 5-2. The Colts defense has progressively gotten worse in recent weeks, allowing 13, 20, 31, and 38 points in their last four games, respectively. The Saints have scored 46, 26, 34, and 34 in their last four games, so it will be a big challenge for Indy’s defense to keep New Orleans off the board often. Surprisingly, the Saints defense has struggled at home, going 1-2 in their last three games in the Superdome and giving up 26 or more points in all three contests. Prime time games in New Orleans are the Saints’ expertise, however. They are 17-3 straight up (16-4 against the spread) in their last 20 nationally televised nighttime games at home. The Colts have also had prime time success, though, going 3-0 ATS in their last three such games.
