Either the Jets will get their first win on the road or Washington will win their first home game on Sunday, as these two teams with lost seasons battle at FedEx Field. The moribund Jets offense, which enters this week ranked 30th in points per game with 14.4, scored 34 points against a toothless New York Giants defense in the cross-town Jets’ victory. Even if the Jets can’t put up as many points this week against a tougher defense, the Redskins can’t score much either – Washington is ranked dead last in points per game (12.0). The Skins have scored a total of 18 points in their last three games. The Jets’ two wins this year have come against the NFC East, as they look to make it 3-1 against the division this season. Washington’s one win came at Miami, who beat the Jets two weeks ago. Even though the Redskins are a slight favorite, they are currently riding an eight-game losing streak at home, going 2-6 against the spread in those eight contests.
